We met lots of “Yachties” (people who work as crew on mega-yachts) at Lyford Cay Marina. It was very interesting to have an opportunity to talk with them. They are from all over the world: France, England, South Africa, US, Venezuela, etc. Captain Ted from the mega-yacht next to us spent time going over exactly where to go in the Exumas, including all the interesting things to see and do. He gave us lots of great boating advice tips on fishing. We cannot thank him enough for all of his amazing advice.
Panache was definitely a minnow amongst whales. We gave some of the yachties a tour of the boat, which they seemed to love. We were so thankful to have met all of them as they were so kind to us. Maybe, this is what the boating community is like. We were amazed!
